Chef John Besh spent his early life in his hometown Louisiana. An early interest in food eventually showed him the way to switch for a formal training at the Culinary Institute of America. After completing his training, he spent his days as a chef in various hotels in Germany and France. Besh has always been a fan for hunting and even today, Besh along with his friends set out for bullfrog hunting every other week. Aside from his life of culinary passion he also did many other things when he was younger. He served in the Marine Corps and also attended Louisiana state University.
